Every creator gets the DM sooner or later: "Can you make one just for me?" A letter for their partner. A shout-out video for a birthday. A preset tuned to their photos. A beat in their key.
Until now you had two bad options: put it in your shop where everyone sees it at one price, or sort out an EFT in the DMs and hope they pay. Custom packs fix that.
What a custom pack is
A custom pack is a product that never shows on your page. Only the person you send the link to can buy it, and the link works once. When they've paid, it closes and nobody else can use it.
- Their price. Every link can have its own price, so a long letter can cost more than a short one.
- Their file. Upload something made just for them, or reuse the same file for everyone who asks.
- No account needed. Your fan pays with just their email. The download link lands in their inbox straight away.
- A record of every sale. You can always see which link was paid, when, and by whom.
Ideas that work as custom packs
- Writers and poets: a personalised letter or poem, delivered as a PDF (plus a voice note).
- Musicians and producers: a custom beat, a verse, or a song for a wedding or anniversary.
- Photographers and editors: presets tuned to one person's photos, or an edited set from their shoot.
- Fitness and food creators: a plan built around one person's goals, allergies or budget.
- Artists and designers: a portrait, a logo, a phone wallpaper with their name in it.
- Comedians and personalities: a birthday or congratulations video.
How to send your first one
- On your dashboard, go to Products and tap Create Custom Pack.
- Give it a name (fans see it on the payment page), a price and a short line about what they're getting.
- Upload the file. Lots of files, like photos or audio? Zip them into one file first.
- Copy the link and send it in your DMs, on WhatsApp, wherever you're chatting.
For the next fan, open the same pack and tap Create a new link. Choose "Same as last time" to reuse the file and price, or "New for this fan" to upload their file and set their price.
Paid first, or made first?
With a custom pack the fan pays for something you've already made, so you do the work first. For a quick piece that's fine: you agree the price in the DMs, make it, send the link.
For bigger jobs, a couple of options:
- Send a taster. Upload the first part (the opening paragraph, a 15-second clip) and send the rest once they've paid.
- Use a service instead. A service product sits in your shop at a fixed price. Fans pay first, you see their email in your orders, and you mark it done when you've delivered.
Custom packs are the extra, not the start
A custom pack only sells when someone asks. Your shop sells while you sleep. If you haven't put anything in your shop yet, start there: our guide to what to set up first walks you through it.
And when a fan loves what you made for them, ask if you can share their words. "She cried reading it" in your next post sells the next custom pack better than anything you could say yourself.
